Ask about the spa treatments upon check-in. they enhance relaxation and often offer exclusive deals.

Tucked into the culinary gems of York, the Welsh pastries at nearby Delrio's were simply phenomenal! Beyond that, Mr Happy delivered a hearty meal that packed a punch, making each bite a delight. Can't forget the quick, delicious fix at Lo Spuntino too!
Now, if we're nitpicking, it was a bit of a trek to snag a late-night bite, but with all the local eateries buzzing, it hardly threw a spanner in the works.

I had a wonderful time visiting the nearby attractions, particularly the National Railway Museum which was just a short walk away. The culinary experience at the on-site restaurant was exceptional, easily among the best meals I've had. The garden was particularly stunning and made for a lovely backdrop during my stay. I did experience some trouble with the Wi-Fi in my room, but overall, it didn’t detract from my enjoyment.

Characterful rooms with exceptional breakfast
I loved my stay in the spacious executive double room, which had a cozy and rustic feel. The breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic range of freshly cooked options including fluffy omelettes and delicious pastries. The gardens provided a lovely retreat, enhancing the overall experience. the traffic noise from the road outside could be a bit distracting, especially for light sleepers.

Massive garden suite, perfect for traveling with pets. The lounge features elegant décor, and the restaurant serves standout dishes that elevate the entire dining experience.
While the garden room was spacious and clean, its age showed with stained carpets and tired walls craving a fresh coat of paint. I found the mattress too worn for comfort, the pillows didn’t offer support, making sleep a bit of a challenge. some minor maintenance issues like a leaky toilet and a non-functioning safe detracted from the experience. On a bright note, the pool area, though small, is well-equipped. but some slippers would be a nice touch for easy access.

Had an amazing time with friends. The hotel is super close to the racecourse, so we enjoyed some flat racing during our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, and breakfast was a treat! The garden looks stunning, especially in summer. Don't miss dining at Oxo's restaurant. it's out of this world. Will definitely come back for a longer stay.
The only downside? The bed was so comfortable, I seriously wanted to take it home with me!

The Mount exudes charm with its antique furniture and beautiful gardens, making it feel like a warm family home rather than a hotel. Accessibility was good, ensuring I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay.
More seating in common areas needed.

We had a fantastic time exploring York with the kids! One of the highlights was visiting the racecourse, where we caught some exciting flat racing and mingled with friendly trainers. The kids loved it, and it made our stay even more special.
In my wife's opinion, the rooms could use a bit of an update for families. A fresh coat of paint and general tidying would enhance the overall experience.

Charming and Cozy Experience
Had a fab time! The place is so unique with its cozy decor and friendly staff. Breakfast was a real treat with fresh local eggs—just perfect! The only thing was the wifi was a bit spotty during peak hours. But honestly, who needs it when the atmosphere is this good?
